NEWAIM Fiber Mill is owned and operated by Nancy Williams and Al Maloney. We have been raising alpacas since 1999. Our farm is NEWAIM Farm Alpacas and we usually have around 25 alpacas on the property. We are shown above with two of our males, Jed's Zumi and AFF Alistair, at the 2004 Conservation Fair. Nancy has been knitting since she was a child and hand spinning since we bought our first alpacas. She now runs the fiber mill full time. I manage the farm and run a web design business called Dog Bone Designs. We are both active in our local alpaca and fiber related organizations. We spend many days each year at fairs and other events educating the public about alpacas and alpaca fiber.
